Glorifying God in your life means to make your story a source of life to others. Taking your situations, your good times, your bad times and making them light to others. Showing the glory of God in all things.
To glorify - to light up brilliantly, to honor, to elevate, to esteem, to represent as glorious, exalt, adore.
To bring life - to give vitality to someone or something, to energize, to enliven, bring into existence, breathe life into, give a new birth to, put life into.
We all have a story. We all have been both, - on the mountain and have walked in the wilderness.
God allows and God gives. What is the most precious and beautiful part of this journey is to take the good, the bad and glorify God with it. That is what He is asking us to do. Make our story LIFE to someone else.
Glorifying God is all about Him. This journey really isn't about us, it is about Him. He can do all that I fail to do. God can take something bad and turn it into a miracle. A miracle I would not want to miss out on! God can take the crooked and make it straight. God can take our impossible and make it very possible.
Sometimes judgemental people can cause us to hide the light God has given us in situations because they did not see that God was involved and they judged us. Their judgement can hinder us and God's work.
If you walk with the Lord, He is involved! Don't hide the light! Don't worry about what man says, listen to what God is saying and obey Him.
Let His Light shine, and may He be gloried in all things in your life,
To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
